Daytrip of Neelah Wahn Lagoons & Katas Temples

Katasraj Mandir is a Hindu temple complex situated in Katas village near Choa Saidan shah.
Dedicated to Shiva, the temple has existed since the days of Mahābhārata and the Pandava brothers spent a substantial part of their exile at the site. The Pakistan Government is considering nominating the temple complex for World Heritage Site status in 2007.

This beautiful place is located in the Salt Range on the way from Kallar Kahar to Choasaden Shah, we need to trek through the mountains to reach the amazing place the trek is around 25 to 35 minutes one way from the parking. The water is still clean and a bit cold. The name Neelwaan is derived from the blue waters.
